I guess that what shocks me more than anything is their lack of response to a politely-worded e-mail that expressed concern over their new policy regarding portion sizes. Even a response saying something like, "we are looking into the situation and will respond shortly" would have been somewhat satisfying. The lack of any response says something about their approach to customer service, and what it tells me is not good.
