Would you say that at Ming’s they do things simply?[;)]
Most definitely! We had the mei fun for dinner and enjoyed it very much. They were very generous with the chicken and it was full of fresh herbs and ginger. Still, it will be the pancakes that probably get me to go back there repeatedly. It’s a pretty short drive from my home.
On a side note, have you or anyone else tried a chain of fried chicken called Krispy Krunchy Chicken? It seems to be sold a lot in convenience stores and gas stations. They use cajun seasoning. I’m asking because a new convenience store that we passed along the way to Ming’s advertises that they sell this chicken on their sign. I’m planning on trying it either tomorrow or next weekend. I’m a little skeptical. I know it’s pretty common to find high quality fried chicken in convenience stores and gas stations in parts of the south; but that’s not the case in these parts.
