Great question, SRB. We live in Stafford Springs, and the best around us is Willington Pizza House, which we reviewed for this site awhile back. You’re in luck, though, for New Haven pizza: Frank Pepe’s just opened a restaurant in Manchester, surely much closer to you than New Haven. Also, Luna Pizza has three stores in West Hartford, Simsbury, and Glastonbury — and it’s as good as any place in the state. Flatbread Company has a place in Canton that we often visit; they serve very thin-crust pizza with fabulous toppings, all organic and/or local ingredients.

Also, if you’re a Thai fan, we swear by Sawadee in South Windsor, probably a stone’s throw from your doormat!
