I have had one event go bad for us at Outback. They had a new guy working the meat-grill and he apparently couldn’t judge the ‘doneness scale’ of the Lamb Ribs. I griped the first time because they were well-done far beyond the ordered "Pink Medium"
Server missed the timing badly so others in my party were almost finished when my Lamb arrived again..almost raw-rare. The Manager had brought it out to check on my attitude as much as the meat. When he saw the rare Lamb, He comped the dinner and offered anything else on the menu. Since the rest of the group was done, I refused and accepted coupons for dinner for two another time and finished the salad that had been part of the package.. While not happy about what happened to my dinner, the solution was satisfactory to me. I did not tip for what was not served…but the rest of the party did as they had received decent service.
