It IS real Roadfood, though; it’s the stuff that the locals eat, far from the main roads. It is a nice alternative choice to McDonalds and Burger King (the other Stookey’s locations around NE PA are still open). The food is home made. It is the kind of stuff your mom might have made on a rainy Saturday for lunch, if she was tired. Simple food.
I wanted to make the point that it’s not barbeque, more than to dis it. But you ARE right in that it isn’t remarkable. It is OK enough, but not worth driving out of the way for.
