I first sampled poutine in Nova Scotia, then PEI and then again in New Brunswick. I am not sure I had ever thought of the idea but it was good.
The fries I got in Quebec were somehow different than the US ones. They reminded of of the frites I got in Europe. It is either a different potato or a different oil. In my opinion they werre far tastier.
