BTWQ, I forgot to mention as someone else did, the folks in Europe *really* know how to do breakfast. Different fruits, breads, meats, condiments, cereals, excellent drink choices, you name it. I also noticed that European hotels were more prone to mix up the choices on a regular basis.

I would say my breakfast experiences in Europe (and I did travel widely over a long period in Europe), is that breakfast is more like a B&B in the US, but with more choices.
