I don’t know anything about Freddy’s, but I can’t understand why anyone would ever go to a Steak ‘n Shake a second time.

Hard to believe, but there are people in this world who think the same thing about Waffle House and White Castle.  Philistines.  Honestly.

When they opened a Steak ‘n Shake here back around 2005 I took my grandson there for a meal. See, there used to be Steak And Shakes in Houston back in the ’50s and I assumed it was the same. It’s not. The burgers were these flat crispy things that were dry as bones and had less flavor. The fries were equally delicious. Even the coffee was bad. My grandson did like his milk shake.
