Yes i think either Pillsbury or Betty Crocker had those microwave cakes. We bought those too,and I liked them.I remember when Kool-Aid made a rootbeer flavour.It was tasty,but they later discontinued it.
Ruby Rose, yes,I recall seeing on the Jello website chocolate flavour Jello.I have a couple of old Sears grocery catalogs that I think mention Choclate flavour jello,but it was Sears brand,Montclair.
Few people know Sears and Montgomery Wards sold groceries,much the less houses.
Yes ,you could order a house from Sears or Wards.They would ship it to you by freight and the pieces were already cut and numbered.All you had to do was follow the instructions to build the house.
They even included paint for it too.
Aladdin Homes, Sterling Homes, Lewis -Liberty,L.E.Crain of Houston,and many other companies offeredwhat people know call kit homes.Many of the Wards houses can also be found in the catalogs of the Gordon van Tine Company of Davenport Iowa. Gordon van Tine made their own kit homes and may have supplied many of these houses for Wards.Sears has info on their houses at the company’s website.
