The Travelin Man
I live in central Florida and do not mow. I live in a condo! The thought of getting out in that freaking heat is enough to make me want a lemonade.
That said, the folks who do mow around here do so more frequently in the summer than in the winter. During the summer (i.e. rainy season), it is possible to see a lawn that could need to be mowed more than once per week. In the winter (which can often include a drought-level rainfall), I have seen them go two weeks depending on weather.
I don’t know if you are talking about private homes, a condo, or a commercial building, but more and more places with deed restrictions will tell you how often you need to mow the grass or give you a prescribed length that you are not to exceed. And, let me tell you, the Q-tip Patrol ([:p]) is out in full force to make sure that you do not violate any stipulations of your deed restrictions.
