You should be OK to use some WD-40 or penetrating oil to get it out. Just don’t use too much force or you might strip it. Then it will have to go off to the gunsmith or manufacturer. I’d get some Rem oil at your local shop and give a thorough going over after a good cleaning. Then you should be good to go for awhile.
