Thank you Michael.  I have regretted trading away my lever-action 45-70 a couple of years ago, and was hoping to find a way to ‘restore’ it without kicking out a lot of cash. This trade gave me LITERALLY more BANG for my trade bucks… as the .450 Marlin has a bit more “Umph” than the 45-70.

While our woods are not packed with large Bears, Unsavory critters do show up in the area and this rifle, teamed with the rest of the arsenal should keep them at bay, or better prevent any bad things from happening.
