Cosmos, I recommend the Koni FSD Damper Set with Eibach Pro Spring Kit. This kit was designed for street driven cars that occasionally see the track or an autocross. Koni makes a specific kit for your Mazda. Visit http://www.tirerack.com for info and prices. I have the first version of Koni Sport Adjustables with an Eibach Pro Spring Kit on my 97 Miata. How does 1.1g’s on a 300 foot skidpad in both directions from two different drivers sound? The Miata was riding on a set of 185/60-14 Yokohama 008RSII tires. This was the summer of 1999 and tire technology has come a long way since then. Current street tires are 195/50-15 Goodyear F1 GS-D3’s on SSR Comp’s. These tires are made in Germany and are OEM on the Porsche Turbo and various Ferrari’s. My race tires are 205/50-14 Hoosier A3SO3 Autocrosser’s. All my wheels, tires, shocks, springs, brakes, and rotors are from the Tire Rack.
