It started when I was 13 and has continued to this day, I am 35 now. I don’t personally love every song… I almost could, but everything they do is brilliant, including Bono’s diplomatic stuff outside of music. I LOVE that they have not become what other huge rock bands have.

Led Zeppelin is number ONE.. And Black Sabbath is Number 2, and Jimi Hendrix is Number 3…..
They all rank number one in my books…I grew up,, ThANKFULLY..in the 60’s with the rock and roll revolution going on.

U2, as much I do like their music very much, cannot compare with the founding fathers of rock and roll….

No, I am not misguided, and I am not referring to any of those… just saying that my favorite rock band is u2, they consistently put out good music, plus they do some good stuff and are still together after 25+ years with little of the drama that the old rock bands have. I should have known better, some people from the 60’s are very opinionated about their experience + rock music. I guess I should have just posted:
