Uh…ok, this is just me being a crumodgeon. I like to make my oatmeal from steel cut. That way I can add the flavors that I want. I do not have to have Quakers Oats dictate the flavors for me. And I have really simple tastes. For instance:
Oatmeat with maple syrup and butter.
Oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins.
Oatmeal with fresh fruit(peaches, strawberries, blueberries, banannas or whatever you like.)
Usually I make it the night before and put it in the slow cooker. That way when I’m ready in the morning it is waiting for me.
