Hot suace has been a thread for several years on this forum. I do not know how many you have to go back but the Sundancer’s favorite has always been "Cholula"
I personally like to perk up food but I do not need something so hot that it overpowers everthing. A hot suace in my opinion is a spice and I use it to enhance flavor for whatever I am using. I do not want anything to be the dominate flavor.
For the Sundancer, Tabasco was the first ever hot sauce and was the best until I later discovered that there was others. Cholula hit the spot because it delivered the taste of hotness with the lack of total aftertaste of extreme hotness.
