My favorite is the Anasazi beans. We buy them in 10 pound bags directly from Adobe Milling in Dove Creek, CO whenever we go through. Very much like pintos except sweeter. They are a very colorful bean but fade when cooked. My husband cooks them with onion, garlic, oregano and bacon. Wonderful meal with corn bread or flour tortillas! Add water and you can have Anasazi bean soup. Anasazis are an ancient bean first found in cliff dwellings. I also really like garbanzos.
