I used to get lunch quite often at a nice bagel shop on 7th ave in NY that served a nice pastrami. My favorite was on an everything bagel with mustard and a nice half sour on the side. Another favorite was hot roast beef and cheddar…only I couldn’t ask for that at the kosher place.
