No hot dog emporiums or hot dog culture in Topeka at all.
Kansans seem to prefer corn dogs at the State Fair and whatever brand of hot dogs is on sale at the grocery store.

Coming from Western New York, where the hot dog is king, (Ted’s in Buffalo is nirvana), I have gotten used to this lack of hot dog passion here.
