Our kids ate anything, anywhere. McDonald’s wasn’t a big deal then, and when we lived in Charleston, West Virginia the nearest one was about 50 or so miles away in Huntington. When we lived in the Virgin Islands there were no fast-food places and the kids ate fish and fungi and akee rice just like everyone else. My grandson likes fast food, but he loves real food, so the nearest chili parlor or chop house is fine with him.
