I check them occasionally, but to be perfectly honest, anywhere around here I go regularly I know the staff so well I don’t bother. If I have time, and if I think of it, I’ll check before going somewhere new, but usually not.
By the way, don’t just look at the overall score. Make sure you look at WHAT they were marked down for. I’m much more likely to forgive "employee hand sink out of paper towels" than I am "meat stored above 40F" or "raw meat stored above vegetables", ya know?
