The batter did not have any distinct flavor………it certainly was not sweet…..I am going to try to duplicate it sometime by using a thick pancake batter but as I have never even made a "corndog", I do not know how successful my attempt at making this will be. The coating was really great as you tasted the hot dog and mustard so well! For a real hot dog lover like me, this Dip Dog was a wonderful treat.
