You made some great stops!  I was first introduced to Bourque’s boudin 10 years ago by a friend of mine who lives in the Lafayette area…ironically, in your home city of Indianapolis!

 

Based on your photos I’d say that the only dining you did was at Galatoire’s.  The other times you were just eatin’.[;)]

 

Was this a trip that you’d been planning for a long time?  Kind of a “once in a lifetime” experience?

I dunno.  Sweetbreads at Galatoire’s doesn’t sound too shabby to me!  Too bad there’s not a pic of them…….one of my favorites.  But hell, it ALL looks good!  Especially that soft-shelled crab smothered with crawfish etouffee!!
