I used to feel that way about Pinwheels, they sold for about $4.50 which at the time were higher than the other brands, but then I discovered Mallomars, and Dare Whippets, which are cheaper and the Mallomars at least, better tasting.  Do you have a Big Lot near you?  Mallomars are kind of iffy, but I’ve been finding Whippets there pretty regularly.  Give them a chance.  I think they changed the Pinwheel formula for a wider distribution into warmer areas.
