Posts like this contribute to the site at the same level as spam in my opinion. I prefer to accent the positive.
LOL. When I posted this, I knew that it would bring out a lot of opinions. A spam post , here, often gets more comments than a post about Roadfood, which is why I tried this experiment. My original post was long, with 5 or 6 paragraphs, but I cut it way back to leave others room to comment. The comments were not as expected, but there were 546 views.
Example: My post about Tiny Tim’s, a genuine Roadfood place got 1 reply and 273 views. This post, to date has 17 replies, and 546 views.
No insults are or were intended. I just thought that it was an interesting thing to discuss.
tmiles, Before you edited you said it was a test ….anyway. NO insult intended on your Tiny Tim thread, but a question was asked and as in the thread itself, nothing was really said or answered. You said it was good a once failing spot seems to be doing well…which is great IMO. But, NOTHING about the food, specials, atmosphere, service, or why someone should try it OR respond to the thread. You even said you know really nothing about it or the owners. In the Spam thread it was like you were calling people out…which will get responses. Just MHO.
