I agree the Rockland Bakery is a true Gem! I’ve driven up there a couple of times from Union County NJ just to stock up on bread (well, always a few other stops too).

Next time you’re up that way, you might want to check out Main Street in Nanuet (about 10 mins from the bakery). There are several Mom & Pop Pizza places and taverns within a few blocks of each other, all of which compete for Best Pizza in Nanuet. For what it’s worth, I tried 4 of them in one day a while back and voted The Nanuet Hotel as the best. Nice old tavern too.
