Nothing excites my tastebuds quite so much as scraping aspic (Really? That’s the best name for gel that someone came up with? Sounds like a socially unacceptable bit of grooming!) off of some pressed, canned meat! On the other hand, my dad and I used to eat fried SPAM sandwiches on white bread with ketchup for lunch on his days off, so I’ve got those memories goin’ for me, which is nice.
yep … as bad as it is, Spam (the real stuff) still makes a quick tasty sandwich and easy to keep on the pantry shelf.
