I was in Havanna and had this divine sandwich: of course, true Cuban bread, mayo on one side, mustard on the other, layered with baked ham, garlic-studded roasted pork (thinly sliced), dill pickles, a small amount of local cheese, melted, it was cow’s milk but nothing I’ve ever had here in the US. I want to be like Hemmingway and move to Cuba!
