Old-timers in the Greater Newark Area talk of a place, now long gone, on a highway approaching Newark.

It had a carnival theme and had all those foods you’d expect at a state fair. I don’t recall the name.

In any case, I’d like to have such a place handy, especially if the hot dogs and corn dogs were top notch.

As I often bemoan, while New Jersey Hot Dogs are among the best I’ve ever had, there isn’t a place here that serves a world class corn dog.
