So here’s a question. Is it still a “grinder” if it’s made by a Connecticut fast food chain, and also a Philly cheesesteak type of sandwich?
I will say that it was good, far better than the steak-and-cheese I had at Nardelli’s, which was obnoxiously salty and also not freshly cooked.
Sorry I’ve been away from the grinder game for a while. All sorts of real-life things interfering with culinary exploration. I’d actually intended to get a turkey grinder around Thanksgiving, but that fell through when I went back to Iowa instead. [:)]
My short list for my next stop… or rather, my short list of my very, very long list…
Vocatura Bakery – Norwich
Jimmy’s Store – Torrington
Stars & Stripes Giant Grinders – Middletown
Vito’s Deli – New Haven
CJ’s Pizza & Giant Grinders – Manchester
Grinders Keepers – Bristol
