Gave Elmwood Pizza & Grinders another shot today.  Second visit in two years.

 

Uh. Nope.

 

 

Look, I know that you’re not using top cuts of beef for a steak-and-cheese, but it shouldn’t look like, or have the texture of, something that came from a factory.  

 

Just as bad was their “chicken” soup.

 

 

This was the first time I’d ever been served chicken soup with processed chicken – a spongy nightmare with an orange crust that made me think it was originally supposed to be some kind of “buffalo chicken” product.

 

Compare to Corner Grinder‘s soup, which is practically an art form.

 

 

Oof.  Hope I do better next time.
