I like to shop (and read the result of my shopping) online at various Book Dealers, Including HAMILTON’S BOOKSELLER.  Recently they had a “Bargain Book Cataloge” issued with some very low prices. I indulged in a few… a couple of Military History Trivia  books, a John Wayne Biography, some light humor for Janet, AND

“HOW TO ROAST A PIG” 150 PAGES OF WELL ILLUSTRATED AND DETAILED GUIDELINES TO VARIOUS HOG COOKING TECHNIQUES—$ 5.95

and

“UNITED STATES OF PIE”  200 PAGES OF AMERICAN PIE CULTURE. SORRY THE TABLE OF CONTENTS PRINT IS SMALL IN THE FOTO- EXPAND IT IF U CAN.. THE LABELS ARE GREAT.  The recipes include a good background history of the regional origins. What is missing are those all important photographs of the products themselves.
