Steak ‘n Shake was founded in Normal, IL, in 1934, about 50 miles east of Peoria, where I was born (in 1934) and still live. Here is their chili page on their website, with all of their ways mentioned and many pictured. (The beans come standard with the basic chili, so the 5-way is actually 6-way)
