Ed — 25 years ago, we used to get pressed duck among some other now long-unfashionable Chinese delicacies at a place called Jack’s — if I remember correctly it was just to the northwest of the intersection of the 605 and 91, maybe on Woodruff or Bellflower near Alondra. I’m sure it’s no longer there as the neighborhood has probably turned over a few times since then. Still, it’s a good memory. The sauce was faintly sweet, with some sesame seeds.
