Rick, I have made short cut Green Chile Stew, at least that’s what I called it, all kinds of ways. I have never seen the mix though but I would sure try it. Sometimes I use Salsa Verde, sometimes Green Enchilada Sauce, sometimes Mexican Green Sauce, or any combination of the above. It is always pork, and slow cooked w/ onions. I have used potatos but sometimes just dish it over Lipton Spanish or Mexican rice.
The New Mexico Green Chile Stew has more strict guidelines, kinda like Texas Chili does.
