Ray Radigan’s in Kenosha is popular with the 70 and over crowd. It was a good restaurant 30 years ago, but not any more. Marathon’s in Waukegan and Dino’s in Racine are mediocre at best.
Good roadfood in Kenosha include:
Mangia’s-Top Rated Italian Food-Dennis Ghetto
The Spot-Fabulous Greasy Cheeseburgers
Ron’s Place-Char Grilled Cheeseburgers
Tenuta’s Deli-The best of Italy in Wisconsin
Grateful Dog-Vienna Beef Hot Dogs
Andrea’s-Malts & Sundaes
Star Bar Restaurant-Reubens & Friday Fish Fry(bluegill & perch)
Frank’s Diner-A real diner serving "The Garbage Plate Breakfast"
Good roadfood in Racine include:
Kewpee Sandwich Shop-Great Greasy Cheeseburgers equal to The Spot
Sebastian’s-Excellent Food, Great Filets
Oh Dennis Saloon & Charcoal House-Baby Back Ribs
O&H Bakery-Kringle
Mexico Lindo-Mexican
Main Moon-Excellent Chinese Food from NYC
Most other Kenosha/Racine restuarants are fast food or chains, so we head for Chicago every chance we get.
