Yes, but is it regionally appropriate???? 

For someone who is local – absolutely!

Here in RI  us locals enjoy Thai Food, Taco’s, BBQ, Burgers, pulled pork mac n cheese, ban mi that’s  “eating like a local” here in RI. We leave the hot weiners to the drunk, out of town college kids, pizza strips to gramma and grampa and the clam shacks to the tourists.
