I’m a terrible liberal, but I find no joy in Cheney’s misfortune.
I come from a family that hunted. Two brothers are game wardens.
I quit hunting in my twenties because I had no friends that hunted and
it just wasn’t in my blood.
But I do know there is joy in the sport and an awesome responsibility.
Cheney must feel like Crap over what happened, and not because of politics.
He was engaging in an activity that was fun and relaxing for him, and it went
to hell because of an accident. That must be awful for him in a personal way.
Yes, he should be treated equally by the law. As much as I dislike his politics,
he should be viewed equally as someone who made a terrible accident. He didn’t want
to hurt his friend.
It is pitiful that we should make a sad accident political blank bullets when there
are real problems that Bush and Cheney have inflicted upon us.
Sorry if sounds like a downer. This is, to me, Cheney’s personal demon that he has
to deal with. The war, the economy, etc. are the ones we should be bringing him and his
people to task about.
Take Care and dodge the real bullets,
p.s. sometimes, I wish I didn’t care. I just wished I could only love food
