I have been once to the location at Easton in Columbus, OH. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon to get a table. As everyone has said the portions were huge and I thought it was ok food. Not too much different than you can find in other similar trendy chains. Truthfully I cannot even remember what I had which says something as I almost never forget a good meal. I was not overly impressed with the cheesecake and I thought it was kind of a small piece especially when compared to the rest of their portions and what it cost. My wife and I vowed never to return. There is just no good reason to wait that long to eat there.
Here’s the thing about the CF that surprises me. We like to take weekend trips to Chicago. We often ask locals where to eat and several times we have been told to go to the CF. Now, Chicago has some of the best places to eat in the world in all food categories and price ranges. CF is one of the LAST places I would consider going while there. The last time we were shopping and told the salesman we going to go to the Tempo cafe for dinner (we were in the mood for omlettes and the Turkey and Swiss one at Tempo is about the best you can find). The salesman told us we shoud not go there and go to the CF instead. The kicker of the story was that he ahad eaten dinner at Tempo.
