Since I originally posted the above in 2007 I have visited the re located BookStore. It is now called Charleston Cafe and is located in nearby Mount Pleasant. The new place had a menu very similar to the on on King Street. Owner had turned it over to daughter and it continued with same great food and service and mostly same employees and Dad "helped out". The daughter has since married and moved out of state and Dad re taken over management. He is a great guy but his daughter was the dynamo that kept it at an extremely high level. It is still a good place to eat but maybe not quite the same since daughter left. The Shrimp and Grits are still a good choice.
