Hpw about Arthur Treachers?…. I remember back in the late 60’s early 70’s they used to have lines out the door on friday night? Are there any in existence?
A BIG problem with all of these places currently is that they use mostly pollock (fish) now. In years gone by, they always used cod. So did McDonald’s, etc. Codfish is now greatly "overfished" world wide. Go figure.
