6 GB/month is still a LOT of data. My newest plan has 20 GB, which is, for the most part, unlimited. My 4G LTE is faster than most wireless provided for free in restaurants and hotels, so I tend to use it a lot – even tethering my laptop to the phone when needed. I still don’t think I have come near 6 GB in a month. 

Even without streaming movies, it’s a rare month when I don’t get the “you’ve used 75% of your data allowance” warning a few days before the new month. When I’m working, it’s not uncommon for me to go days without even seeing my laptop, much less using it for anything, so all of my online life happens through my phone. And since I use my phone for both personal and business and there is no such thing as secure public wi-fi….yeah. I don’t remember the last time I used less than 5GB in a month.
