Taco Palenque is actually a chain, about 8 stores in Texas. There are two in Brownsville, one at the Sunrise Mall and the other at Boca Chica and expressway 83 (the freeway).
There are two in McAllen both on 10th street and one in Larado. They are pretty good, but it is hard to not find good TexMex food almost anywhere you try. Everyone speaks English, just not among themselves. I live in the Valley.
