Now that’s the Italan Dog that I remember! it looks like the Italian Dog is in an Italian roll with an equal addition of onions, peppers and potatoes. When I mentioned my disappointment at the Jimmy Buff Italian Dog I had several years back because of their overly carbed/bready  loaf they  (and alot of the other popular Italian dog joints used) and on top of that, the amount of potatoes they added to the sandwich was beyond ridiculous, I was laughed at when I mentioned I had an Italian Dog several years back on an Italian roll”

 Oh, and this “roll” pictured is a cut in half pizza bread!!
