Becky, there’s one place along this route that we always try to visit, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and that’s the Lakeview Restaurant. When you get off I77 and head south on US 52, but before you actually go down the mountain and just prior to passing under the Blue Ridge Pkwy, the Lakeview is on your right. There’s another place just ahead on the left, but the locals seem to favor Lakeview. Enjoy the trip, and the food!
