Thank you, John! I saw weisswurst many years ago and wasn’t particularly fond of it; then I discovered brats and saw brats that look like what I knew only as weisswurst. Now I know they’re just variations on a theme. Question: I know that "wurst" is sausage, but what does "brat" mean?
