I am a Jack Daniels man for many years, but I agree it is not bourbon. I have spent 20 years drinking Jack and preaching its superiority over Kentucky bourbon. And then I found Bookers. Bookers is Jim Beam’s uncut-unfiltered whiskey. Straight from barrel to bottle. About 127 proof but smooth and warm. It appears most of the postings favor Maker’s. I suggest at your next opportunity you have some Bookers. It has a bit of a kick but will warm you from head to toe. And I think all whiskey should be drank either neat or over ice.
