However, I’m in NYC. Grew up eating Boar’s Head cold cuts, and still think they have the best boiled ham I ever ate (except for the Ukranian butcher downtown who makes his own, but that’s another deal). Somehow I don’t care for their dogs, however. Don’t know if they make, or if I ever had, an all-beef model, and I don’t, as a rule, care for pork/beef.
Somewhere else I posted that my son had a cookout lately at which he cooked both Boar’s Head and Sabrett’s, and said the Sabrett’s were terrific and the B.H. mediocre. Good enough for me.
