I enjoy Blatz, as well. Cold and wet, as my dad used to say.
In MA, we used to have a choice of "stubbies" between Blatz,Kappy’s (brewed in Hammonton,NJ),Schlitz,Schaeffer,Knickerbocker,and Fort Schuyler (brewed by FX Matt/Utica Club).
Schaeffer ended up being bought out by Falstaff, and became part of the Flastaff/Pabst Blue Ribbon/Olympia group.
The worst I ever had was called Topper pilsener out of PA.
One of the best I have ever had is Straub, out of tiny St.Mary’s,PA-Northwest corner of state.
