Dearfolk,
The utterly worst wine I ever tried (and it was once, mind you, just out of sheer curiosity) was Wild Russian Vanya. It was made at the Monarch Winery on Sawtell Avenue, S/E in Atlanta: sandwiched in between the Atlanta Federal Prison and a Chevrolet plant, and just a good walk (but who’d want to in that part of town?!?) from Harold’s Barbecue. Monarch specialized in making "wino" wines, which seemed to be sold mostly in inner-city stores. I understand that they went out of business recently: no tears shall I shed over such (HOO-hah!) travesties.
I’ve Never Seen 20/20 Anyhow, Ort. Carlton in Athens, Georgia (who would rather drink Copper Creek Brewing Co.’s India Brown Ale and Espresso Stout any day, any how).
